Founded by former Bundaberg Rum Master Distiller, Rick Prosser in Bundaberg’s infamous cane fields, Kalki Moon is the region’s Artisan Distillery. We hope you’ll love it as much as we do.
Stepping inside Kalki Moon, you will first be greeted by the aromas of Small Batch Gin & Rum production. You’ll meet the entire family, from Rick, the Distiller to his wife Kylie, who runs our tours, and through to their children, siblings, and parents — who each work with us here in Bundaberg.
Visitors have the choice of participating in our daily Distillery Tour to experience behind the scenes and learn about all the things that set Kalki Moon aside from the rest.
Visitors can also experience the ultimate Kalki Moon Tasting without participating in the tours, with several tasting options available, including single tastings, customised tasting paddles or a choice from our cocktail's menu.

When we started, we had just two small stills. One 100L still for our Gin and a 200L still for our Rum. It meant we distilled twice a day, seven days a week to meet the demand for our gin. It wasn’t until 2020 that we upgraded to a 1000L still — so we could produce 10 times the amount of gin.
When you visit the Distillery, you will physically see how much we have grown since 2017.

Made using muddled fresh Lime & Mint, 30ml of Kalki Moon Classic Gin then topped with local Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Ginger Beer.
We now offer the convenience of this "Cocktail in a Can", which is canned and packaged here in Bundaberg into slimline 200ml cans. A must for those who are looking to kick back and enjoy a convenient and refreshing change.
