Cauldron Estate and Distillery is located at Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast hinterland. We produce unique Queensland inspired beverages including our award winning Five To Five Gin range. Cauldron Estate and Distillery is the newest and most exciting destination on Tamborine Mountain. Opened in May 2021 and located in the Hartley Road Winery Precinct, Cauldron Estate is an 18-acre property with beautiful established vineyards and lush green meadows perfect for picnics, lawn games or kicking back for an afternoon of R&R.
Proudly located in the Scenic Rim, recently named by Lonely Planet as one of the top 10 destinations to visit in 2022. Our Estate sits within Australia’s Green Cauldron, an expanse of distinctive Australian landscape that provides a window into Australia’s prehistoric past. Our mountain boasts basalt column cliffs, rocky outcrops, and waterfalls as a legacy of the volcanic eruptions around Mt Warning 23 million years ago. Tamborine Mountain hosts 85 percent of all animal species and 65 percent of all plant species found in the City of Gold Coast area and acts as a constant inspiration for our artisan spirits made right here on the mountain.
Cauldron Distillery produces a range of small batch award winning spirits, including the signature Five-To-Five gin range, as well as variety of seasonal gins and liqueurs. Inspired by our location, we grow or source local ingredients to ensure maximum flavour and freshness in all that we do.
Our distiller's began their whisky production in early 2022 and anticipate releases in the 2024 year, along with other spirits that in the pipeline.
