Granddad Jack's Craft Distillery is the Gold Coast's first and only craft Gin, Vodka, Whiskey & Liqueur distillery just two minutes from the North Burleigh beach and in the hub of Burleigh and Miami's thriving craft producer hub. Each of our small-batch artisan spirits is handcrafted in memory of our Granddad Jack and enjoyed across our Queensland distilleries.
We have humbly won over 80 international and national prestigious awards for our spirits since first opening in August 2018. We invite you to join us on a distillery tour or visit the tasting room to try them for yourself.
Production is on full show to visitors from the tasting room and tours are available over the weekend. We also host a very intimate distillery experience each week where you can make your own bottle of gin and enjoy an evening with our Head Distiller.

Father and son team, David & Luke Ridden, always wanted to create something to honour the life of their Granddad Jack, a man who loved to enjoy whiskey and who was known for his resilience, loyal friendship, integrity and hard work.
Granddad Jacks's Craft Distillery is inspired by his story and driven by the same old-fashioned values and ethos he went through life with. Their neighbourhood tasting rooms cultivate a sense of community, uniqueness and belonging.
Five years on, we've become much more than storytellers who make great spirits. Since opening the very first craft distillery on the Gold Coast in August 2018, we have quickly become one of Australia’s most awarded & recommended artisan producers.
Our award-winning product range consists of three unique gins, a vodka, and a coffee liqueur, with a variety of single-barrel whiskey, each bringing to life one of Granddad Jack's stories. These are complemented by two monthly limited releases and seasonal releases.
We've proudly won over 120 international awards for our spirits. Our navy strength gin was voted 'best in Australia' and our coffee liqueur was voted 'best in the world'.
