What To Expect

Located at the historic Pechey Homestead, our distillery door offers tastings on our distillery deck, surrounded by the Homestead gardens.

We offer a guided tastings experience that takes about 20-30 minutes, with the opportunity to purchase bottles to take home.

About

We're proud to be the Toowoomba Region's first artisan distillery. The secret to our exceptional spirits is our commitment to the craft of distilling, drawing on our century old family legacy of moonshining.

Located at historic Pechey Homestead - home to six generations of the Pechey family - today we have built on the legacy of hard work and entrepreneurship that our ancestors first displayed as sawmillers, then as farmers.

Today we reflect and honour this legacy as the first craft distillers in our region.

Our Products

We are true artisan distillery, with all our spirits fermented and distilled onsite.

Being located in the High Country Hamlets micro-region, we source many of our botanicals and ingredients from our local farms and orchards.

Signature Cocktail

The High Country Gimlet

This cocktail is a simple spin on the classic gimlet, using some of the finest locally produced ingredients.

Ingredients:
  • Signature homestead Gin
  • Crows Nest Lime Supreme
  • Lime Slices
Method:

Pour one measure of our signature homestead Gin over ice, top with Crows Nest Soft Drink's Lime Supreme, and garnish with a few lime slices.
